Business Cards

Why is it that business cards are still exchanged primarily on paper? This is about to change.

In the middle of April of 2019, the founders of Bizze, Gregory Molinar and Sebastian Salvo, reached out to Chop Dawg expressing interest bringing their vision for the future of business cards to fruition.

Bizze is a mobile application where users can create their digital card selecting from pre-made templates that can then be customized. Once users are part of the Bizze platform, they can take advantage of the multitude of discovery options at their disposal.

Exchanging business cards in the traditional way often results in piles of cards that go unused. Not with Bizze.

Users can be scanned in with a QR code, found through a location search with all nearby users, or found through traditional search via an address book or manual search. Every user has their own digital Rolodex.

Once someone has connected with another user, they are added to their new digital Rolodex. Here, people can access all their relevant contact information within their network and keep track of the status of their business relationships.

Bizze has a monetization strategy built right out of the gate, with free and paid versions of the app.

Free users will view advertisements throughout the application and be limited to one pre-made template for their digital business cards. However, free users will still have full access to the Bizze ecosystem. Paying subscribers do not see any advertisements.

For paying subscribers, they will be given a multitude of extra perks. By default, paying subscribers receive a lanyard that is shipped to them after their free trial has concluded. This lanyard contains a physical business card from Bizze with a QR code for people to scan and add their contacts.

Paying subscribers can change to any custom pre-made template on Bizze, add videos to their digital cards, and create business accounts to add a team. Paying subscribers can also share digital Rolodexes and share notes to all connections within a shared digital Rolodex!

Chop Dawg has built an administrative backend for the app so that Bizze can effectively manage their business.

Using the admin backend will allow the Bizze team to view the app’s performance, their user growth, manage advertisements, manage pre-made templates, support subscribers, and more.

It was especially important that Chop Dawg built the backend website application with the same precision as the consumer-facing app. This is because Bizze will be managing subscribers that are using both free and paying.

Mister Softee was built as an iPhone and Android application using React Native and with REST APIs, supporting iOS 12, iOS 13, and Android 9, Android 10. For the administrator and server-side, we used PHP with Laravel, built on React.
