We’re so honored and thrilled to announce Chop Dawg’s Founder and CEO, Joshua H. Davidson, has been named to the Board of Directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region!

From BBBS Independence Website:

Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence is a donor-supported organization that enriches, encourages and empowers children to reach their highest potential through safe, one-to-one mentoring relationships.

Volunteering as a Big Brother or Big Sister is about making a measurable difference in a child’s life by sharing new perspectives and experiences. Serving Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in PA and Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties in NJ, nearly 3,700 children annually are more successful socially and academically because of the work of Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence.

Philadelphia, Home to the Third Largest Chapter of the BBBS Youth Mentoring Program

Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence is the third largest chapter of the national youth mentoring program, serving over 200,000 children facing adversity in the Greater Philadelphia region each year.

Joshua is honored to serve Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence in its mission to ignite the power and promise of our youth through mentoring, and play even just a small role in this organization’s incredible legacy.

Becoming a Big remains one of the most formative, rewarding experiences of Joshua’s life. His Little is all grown up now, and their connection has grown, too.

Over the years, Joshua’s been honored to work with the non-profit whenever he’s had a spare moment, including during the formation of its Beyond School Walls entrepreneurial mentorship program at Carver High School of Engineering & Science.

Joshua has also published a book and audiobook “The Entrepreneur’s Framework: How Businesses Are Adapting in the New Economy” available on Amazon and Audible, with all proceeds from sales donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region.

Chop Dawg was the Digital Sponsor of last fall’s annual Fashion Touchdown fundraiser for BBBS Independence Region in partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles, with Joshua serving as Co-Chair of the Fashion Touchdown marketing committee.

Every year, we have one goal: Get the word out about this incredible yearly event for an even better cause!

This year, Fashion Touchdown on November 9th will be an all-digital event, and BBBS Independence’s mentoring program has gone digital to #KeepKidsConnected.

Consider becoming a Big today, and donate!
