With its user-friendly interface, The Showcase connects sports fans to share their collections, discover rare items, and bid on auction items.

An innovative sports memorabilia prototype envisioned by appreneurs Michael Liss and Justin Benzaquen, The Showcase aims to modernize the online memorabilia market by offering a platform for users to showcase, auction, and buy sports cards and memorabilia, merging a world-class experience with the ease-of-use found in platforms like eBay and StockX.

This prototype stands out by integrating social features allowing users to connect and share.

Users can connect with friends in-app and view their personal collection and for-sale products via curated Showrooms. Simply upload a photo or video, a brief description, estimated value and mark whether or not it’s for sale. Live auctions also take place, with built-in user chat functionality. Users can create group chats or send solo messages to in-app connections.
From My Hub, sellers can see sales trends, order information and process fulfillment timely when sales are made via the app. Sellers can plan giveaways and the app has built-in sharing options to drive user engagement.

The Showcase is a prototype for now, but soon-to-be a mobile app and designed with this in mind. Prototypes are a great first step in the entrepreneurial process to gain proof of concept, get funding and take the first major steps towards a tangible product.
